Hi midlander,

welcome to the forum.

First of all: You've installed the .net framework 4.5?!!!!

Here's a short descritption what should happen after starting the updater.

The part you've downloaded and installed is 'only' the downloader for the autoupdater. After checking the version the autoupdater should be downloaded to the folder 'misc' in your installation folder, extracted there and copied to the folder 'resource'. Is there any folder in your installation folder of the updater?

kind regards
rantanplan

Re:Aw: auto updater 11 Years, 2 Months ago
Download the 7z archive. Extract content in sperate folder. Start *.exe. Enter your SBB-Name and password. On second tab enter path to assesto corsa installation and the path where the autoupdater will save the content. Should be an empty folder on a large hard driver. Click OK and wait. Then press the update button. If you are no premium user (no donation done) enter D/L-Ticket. You find it on the left side of the forum. Click Ok and the autoupdater should start to download the content. Thats all...

This is nothing YOU have to do. These are the next steps the updater will try to do for you!

Are there any subfolders in the folder you have installed the Autoupdater?

Maybe you should have extracted the archive first and then run the exe. Many Programs will create folders and such and they cannot do that if you run them from within an archive.

Also maybe this video might help you out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQtst8G2ARg

At around 4:19 he will install .net 4.5 and then downloads, extracts and installs the autoupdater.

The video is in german, but from the things he does you should get a clue on what to do and where things went wrong for you.

Good Luck mate!

Hallo zusammen,

Hi

lösch mal den SBB Ordner unter
C:\Users\+++dein_username+++\AppData\Roaming
