does anyone have/had this same connection trouble??

STUCK IN QUALY AGAIN... also last saterday same issue
i seem to be the only one having this problem
im getting desperate 4 a solution...

today i joined the server 10 min before the race started (i was a little late..)
i set a time during qualy and still was last with 0 laps registerd. so the problem is not the switching between sessions, but i think some connection issue where im not sending/receiving server data.
(and no it was not a cut-warning lap or so,i really put down a clean lap)
but i never get a message about any connection issues.
also i dont recieve no more chat message's, if i write a chat and press enter its not showing ,so it seems im not connected with the server anymore
but then again i still see all other cars and they can still see me on track.
so qualy ends - i see all cars go to start grid and im still in the pits.
so i exit and i cant re-join the server cause im still listed on the server, when i try to re-join i return back to the server lobby without any error message


i've posted this many time's allready on the assetto's forum but did not get any help yet
VERY FRUSTRATING if u practice some hours
i do a qualy and then cant start time & time again.

i've checked the router settings, set them all to standart,
i have read the connection issues workarounds, and checked router settings with this info
i have norton 360, i re-installed assetto corsa with the 1.3 update to a different directory and the "allow" rules for the firewall where not valid anymore.
just now i have set them to allow again, hope this fix/improve's things.
i dont know what to do else no more....

to me that sounds like loss of information.
Ur connection speed is ok, but in race u warp like hell whenever i meet u on track.
When ur PC/rooter looses packages u warp, get no timing and chat doesnt work.

Solutions? Have no idea. I would probably try to reduce speed to get better quality. If that doesnt work change wires. If that doesnt work change ethernet controller. If that doesnt work change rooter. If that doesnt work ask my provider. If that doesnt work format/c and all new. If that doesnt work, take a rope...

i warp when u meet me on track?
never had many complaints about this and i did some great close dogfights in the past allready.
does anyone else share this opinion that im alot warping around??

assetto corsa has also responded with some tips
im running norton360 this could also be part of the problem...
they also came up with a fresh windows install but this seems like a harsh measure, in r-factor2 i dint have issues.
i got some ideas now to try and hope to fix it

I don´t know Norton 360 very well, but it caused some trouble in the past.
Please make sure that you configure your windows firewall via the advanced manager and disable N360 firewall. http://www.howtogeek.com/112564/how-to-create- advanced-firewall-rules-in-the-windows-firewall/

Another problem could be an old OR a new ethernetdriver. If you´ve used the default windows update, you may have gotten a faulty new driver. In that case go to driversettings and restore the old one. Check the ethernet-cards properties also if you have some ah... "Windows Optimizer" Software installed.

wel to start out im really noob when it come's to IT.

i've looked up my modem and it has a router build in , where i dont have any control over my internet provider does not allow it. http://www.icbn.com.tw/products/product_view_en/ 28

i can port forward ,set a DMZ adress and that is about it...im starting to fear this could be the problem

my computer id connected directly into the modem/router,
then i've got a wire plugged into build in lan-ports into the walls of the house wich connect,
my other pc and digital television box
then got some wifi connected devices (printer,laptobs,smartphone)

im looking for a temporary fix
(noob)question:cant i use port forward to get a stable connection with the schwarzbier servers?

You can try disabling unused network adapters or virtual devices that may interfere. Maybe there are some. Look under system/device manager.

Disable Steam Cloud.

Change Steam location Server to Frankfurt, Hamburg or London.

Does this happen in other games too?

What are your "raw" connection stats? (like upload/download)

Do you have ingame in the upper right corner a ping/quality window with their stats?

my ping quality figuers are okay,
i got a great connection , but once in a while it fucksup

i believe bioforce cracked the nut!
@ assetto server all night long , no disconnect.

Set ur country settings in steam on a country were they actually have a server, in my case best ping UK-london.
turned off steam cloud
and unchecked ipv6 options at lan-port config
one of these must have done it!!!
